Saint Lup, once a devoted servant of Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki, witnessed his master's martyrdom with a heavy heart. Grieving, Lup took Demetrius' ring and garment, dipping them in his blood. Miraculously, these relics became a source of healing and power, curing the sick and destroying pagan idols. Enraged, Emperor Maximian ordered Lup's arrest and torture. Unwavering in his faith, Lup endured these torments, ultimately giving his own life for Christ.
