Venerable Gregory left his wealthy family to follow Christ, enduring hardships and temptations, traveling widely to defend the Orthodox faith against iconoclasm. He healed the sick, cast out demons, and converted many. In his final days in Constantinople, he foretold his death and peacefully reposed, his relics becoming a source of healing.
