On this day, let us remember the holy Martyr Theodosie of Brazi, who stood firm in faith during times of trial. In the year 1683, when the Turkish armies invaded the lands of Wallachia and forced many to convert to Islam, Theodosie, a humble hermit, refused to renounce Christ. He openly confessed his faith, defying the invaders and encouraging other Christians to remain steadfast. For his unwavering devotion, he was brutally tortured and beheaded. His martyrdom strengthened the resolve of the faithful, proving that true faith is stronger than any earthly power. Holy Martyr Theodosie, intercede for us that we may have the courage to proclaim Christ in our own lives.
