The holy Martyrs Romulus and Silvanus were bishops, disciples of the Apostle Paul, and labored to spread the Gospel in the region of Dacia (modern-day Romania). During the reign of Emperor Domitian, they were arrested for their faith. Refusing to renounce Christ, they endured cruel tortures. Their bodies were pierced with swords, but they remained steadfast. Finally, they were beheaded for the name of Jesus Christ. The memory of their unwavering faith and courageous witness inspires even today.
