In the days of Diocletian, these four skilled sculptors, Claudius, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostratus, were commissioned to create an idol of pagan gods. Secretly, they were devoted Christians. When asked to carve an image of Asclepius, they refused, declaring their faith in Jesus Christ. Subjected to torture, their hands and tongues were cut off, yet they continued to praise God. Thrown into the sea, they received the crown of martyrdom.
Let us pray to these holy #Martyrs, that through their intercessions, we may remain steadfast in our #Faith and be granted the strength to always glorify God. #Saints #Prayer #OrthodoxChristian
