On this day, let us remember #Martyr Theodosie of Brazi, who defended his faith against the Calvinist attacks on the #Orthodox #Church. In 1655, Prince Gheorghe Rakoczi II demanded Orthodox priests renounce their faith and embrace Calvinism. Theodosie refused. For his steadfastness, he was subjected to torture. He was dragged, hanged, and ultimately beheaded for refusing to renounce the true faith.
