Venerable Seraphim lived as a hermit near Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery, Romania, in the 18th century. Known for his immense patience, he endured extreme weather and wild animal attacks without complaint, attributing all trials to God's will. Villagers sought his counsel, and he guided them with wisdom and compassion. Despite his hidden life, his holiness became widely recognized after his death, as miracles occurred at his grave.
