Born in Nazareth, Mary, a virgin, was betrothed to Joseph. The angel Gabriel appeared to her, announcing she would conceive and bear a son, Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. She humbly accepted, declaring herself the Lord's servant. She visited her cousin Elizabeth, who recognized her as the mother of the Lord. Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. She presented him at the Temple and fled to Egypt to escape Herod's wrath. She raised Jesus in Nazareth. She was present at the wedding in Cana, prompting Jesus' first miracle. She stood by him during his crucifixion. After the Resurrection, she was with the apostles.

Let us pray to the #Theotokos, that through her intercessions, we may draw closer to her son, #JesusChrist, and live lives worthy of His calling. May her example of humility and faith guide us. #Prayer #HolyMother #Christianity
