The Virgin Mary, chosen by God, conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Visited by the Angel Gabriel, she humbly accepted her role, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She journeyed to visit her cousin Elizabeth, who recognized her as the Mother of God. Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem and raised him in Nazareth. She stood by him during his ministry and crucifixion.

Let us pray to the #Theotokos, that she intercede for us, to guide us closer to her Son.
