The mystery of the #HolyTrinity: One God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father eternally begets the Son, the Son is eternally begotten of the Father, and the Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father. They are distinct yet inseparable, co-equal, and co-eternal, united in essence and undivided in divinity. Through the Son, we are adopted as children of God, and by the Holy Spirit, we are sanctified and made partakers of the divine nature.
