Saint Priest Martyr Constantin Sârbu, a beacon of faith during Romania's communist era, stood firm against oppression. In 1958, his unwavering sermons led to his arrest and brutal torture. He was sentenced to death and died shortly after, on December 29th, 1958, at Jilava prison. His last words were prayers for his flock and country.
