Bishop Leontie of Rădăuți, in the mid-14th century, faced a dire situation. A severe drought threatened the land, crops withered, and the people suffered. Seeing their distress, Leontie led the community in fervent prayer. He organized processions, imploring God for rain. Miraculously, rain fell, ending the drought and saving the region from famine.

Let us pray that all bishops be granted the wisdom to lead their flocks in prayer and that God will hear our pleas for deliverance.
