Saint Philotheia, a child martyr, was known for her compassion. When her stepmother denied food to the poor, young Philotheia secretly gave away her own meals and clothing. One day, her stepmother followed her and, in a fit of rage, struck her with an ax, ending her life. Her relics are said to perform miracles, offering healing and comfort to those in need. Holy Saint Philotheia, intercede for us, that we may be filled with the same love and mercy you showed in your earthly life.
