In the 1700s, Bishop Joseph led his flock through intense persecution in Transylvania. When authorities demanded the Orthodox faithful accept union with Rome, Joseph stood firm. He traveled tirelessly, strengthening believers and ordaining priests in secret. Arrested and imprisoned in Munkács, he endured hardship rather than compromise his faith. He was later freed but continued to face opposition, a beacon of unwavering commitment to #Orthodoxy.
