Venerable Germanus, a monk in the caves near the Black Sea, faced a dire drought. Villagers, desperate for water, begged for his help. He struck a rock with his staff, and a spring gushed forth, providing water for all. Pray that Saint Germanus intercedes for us, that we may find refreshment in times of spiritual and physical thirst.
