St. Liviu Galaction, a Romanian Orthodox priest in Cluj, stood firm against communist oppression. In the 1950s, he refused to denounce his faith or collaborate with the regime, continuing to secretly minister to his flock. Betrayed by an informant, he was arrested, tortured, and eventually martyred for his unwavering commitment to Christ. His life stands as a beacon of courage and faithfulness in the face of persecution.
