Claudius, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostratus were skilled sculptors commanded to create a statue of Aesculapius. Secretly Christian, they refused to participate in pagan idolatry. Upon confessing their faith, they were tortured. Claudius's wife, Hilaria, along with their sons Jason and Maurus, encouraged them through their suffering. All were eventually martyred for their unwavering belief in Christ. Their steadfast faith serves as a beacon of courage.
