On June 1, 1941, in the village of Balta Arșița, #Romania, Priest Constantin Sârbu was arrested. Accused of anti-Soviet agitation, he was imprisoned and tortured. Witnesses recount his unwavering faith and prayers even amidst suffering. He was martyred on July 8, 1941, near Sculeni.
