St. Isihie, an Egyptian soldier, faced martyrdom in 309 AD during the reign of Maximian. Ordered to offer sacrifices to idols, he refused, proclaiming his faith in Christ. His steadfastness angered his superiors, who subjected him to brutal tortures, including beatings and scrapings. Miraculously, he survived, leading many to believe in Christ. Enraged, the emperor commanded his execution by beheading. Even at the point of death, Isihie prayed for his persecutors. May his courage inspire us.

Let us pray to #Isihie, asking for his intercession, that we may stand firm in our #Faith and be granted strength in times of trial. #Saints #Martyr #OrthodoxChristian
