Martyr John, a merchant known for his honest dealings and devout faith, was traveling when he was betrayed by a jealous merchant and brought before the Tartar governor. He refused to deny #Christ and embrace Islam, enduring brutal tortures. He was dragged behind a horse until his body was torn to pieces. Even in agony, he prayed. His relics, known for their fragrance and healing power, are now enshrined in Suceava, Romania.
