St. Antim the Ivirian, a brilliant scholar and printer, was Metropolitan of Wallachia. He established the first printing press in Romania and printed numerous liturgical books in Romanian, Georgian, and other languages, making the Orthodox faith accessible to the people. He was known for his piety, wisdom, and generosity. Accused of treason and political intrigue, he was unjustly exiled and murdered in 1716. His relics are a source of miracles.

St. Antim, pray to God for us and intercede for the Church!
