Ilie Lăcătușu, a humble priest, served the poor in Bucharest. After his death in 1936, his body was moved several times. In 1998, his relics were found incorrupt, emitting a sweet fragrance, a sign of his holiness. He was canonized as a Saint in 1998, a testament to his unwavering faith and compassion.
