Today we remember the #Brâncoveni Martyrs: Constantin, his sons Stephen, Radu, and Mathew. In 1714, Prince Constantin of Wallachia and his sons were captured by the Ottomans. Offered life in exchange for converting to Islam, they refused. Constantin encouraged his sons to remain steadfast in their Christian faith. All were beheaded on August 15, the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Their unwavering faith inspires us.

Let us pray to the Brâncoveni Martyrs, that they intercede for us, strengthening our resolve to live according to God's will and to always defend the #OrthodoxChristian #Faith. May their sacrifice inspire our families to stand firm in #Truth. #Saints
