Venerable Theodora of Sihla, once a noblewoman, embraced monasticism after a life of worldly comfort. Following her husband's similar spiritual calling, she sought deeper solitude, retreating to the Carpathian Mountains. In a small cave near Sihla Monastery, she dedicated herself to unceasing prayer and asceticism. Sustained by the Eucharist brought by a raven, she lived in profound communion with God, becoming a beacon of divine light. Pray to her to intercede for our troubled world and that her example will inspire us to seek the solitude needed to commune with God.
