In 1959, #Priest Ilarion Felea was arrested for his faith and steadfast refusal to denounce God under the Communist regime. Subjected to brutal interrogations and torture, he never wavered. They demanded he betray his vows and denounce the Church. Instead, with unwavering resolve, he proclaimed his belief in #Christ. He died in prison, a martyr for his faith.
