In the reign of Emperor Claudius, Donat, a lector, and Venust, with his family, were arrested for their unwavering faith. Thrown into prison, they were urged to renounce Christ but remained steadfast. Miracles occurred: angels visited them, and the prison shone with light. The jailer and eight soldiers converted upon witnessing these wonders. Despite further tortures, including beatings and being dragged over stones, their faith never wavered. Finally, they were beheaded. Their martyrdom strengthened many in their belief.

Lord, through the prayers of #Martyrs Donat and Venust, fortify our resolve to uphold our beliefs amidst adversity. May their unwavering faith inspire us to spread Your light.
