Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, boldly preached Christ in Scythia Minor (modern Dobrogea). Arrested for converting pagans, they refused to worship idols, declaring Christ as the only true God. Despite torture, they remained steadfast, their faith unwavering. Miracles occurred: idols crumbled, and those who harmed them were afflicted. Finally, they were beheaded for their faith.
