St. Andrew, brother of St. Peter, preached the Gospel across the lands, from the shores of the Black Sea to Greece. He established the Church in Byzantium and was eventually crucified in Patras on an X-shaped cross. Even in his final hours, he continued to preach and inspire faith.

Let us pray to St. Andrew, that through his intercession, we may be strengthened to share the Gospel with boldness and love.
