The Brâncoveni Martyrs, Constantin, his sons Constantin, Ștefan, Radu, and Matei, chose Christ over worldly power. In 1714, Sultan Ahmed III demanded their conversion to Islam under threat of death. Constantin, steadfast in his faith, encouraged his sons to remain true to Christ. They were beheaded in Constantinople on August 15th, the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Their unwavering devotion serves as a beacon of faith.
