Saint Andrew, brother of #Saint Peter, was called by #Jesus first, hence "the First-Called." He preached the Gospel throughout the region near the Black Sea, facing many trials. Tradition says he was crucified in Patras, Greece, on an X-shaped cross. From his cross, he continued to preach for two days before he died.
