Ermil, a deacon, and Stratonic, a guard, were martyred for their Christian faith. Ermil was tortured for denouncing idolatry, while Stratonic, secretly a Christian, was tasked to guard him. Seeing Ermil's suffering, Stratonic wept openly, revealing his faith. Both were then subjected to brutal tortures before being drowned in the river. Let us pray to these steadfast martyrs, that they intercede for us, strengthening our resolve to live according to God's will and to openly profess our belief in #JesusChrist. May their courage inspire us to defend our #faith always.
