On this day, we honor the #Brâncoveni Martyrs: Constantin, his sons Stephen, Radu, and Mathew! Refusing to renounce their #Christian faith and embrace Islam, Prince Constantin of Wallachia and his sons were beheaded in Constantinople on August 15, 1714, by order of the Ottoman Sultan Ahmed III. Their steadfastness in the face of death is an inspiring example of faith.

Let us pray to the Holy Martyrs Brâncoveni, that through their intercessions, we may be granted strength and courage to stay true to #God in times of trial. May their sacrifice inspire devotion among us.
