Venerable Confessor Arsenie of Prislop, during his time at Slatina Monastery, once faced a severe drought. The locals pleaded for rain, and Fr. Arsenie, filled with faith, led them in prayer. He then took his staff and struck the ground, and a spring of water gushed forth, providing water for the people and relief from the drought.
