Born in Moldavia, he journeyed to Mount Athos seeking spiritual guidance. There, he embraced monasticism, and his humility and devotion became legendary. Despite his desire for solitude, his wisdom drew many seeking counsel. He later founded a skete at Calapodești, Romania, where he continued to serve as a beacon of faith, healing the sick and guiding countless souls to Christ.
