A humble shepherd, Dimitrie lived a life of quiet prayer and service. After his death, his relics were discovered incorrupt, near the village of Basarabi. During a time of plague, his relics were brought to Bucharest, and the city was spared. Venerable Dimitrie's life reminds us of the power of humility and God's grace.
