Claudiu, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostrat, stonemasons by trade, were martyred for their faith during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. They refused to create a pagan temple and, instead, confessed their devotion to Jesus Christ. Despite torture, they remained steadfast. Their faith was so strong that the executioners were awestruck. They were ultimately executed by drowning.
