He sheltered civilians and even rebels within the Metropolitan Church, offering sanctuary and mediation. His actions, driven by faith and compassion, averted a massacre and highlighted the Church's role as a peacemaker. May his example inspire us to seek peaceful resolutions in times of conflict.
