In the late 3rd century, during Diocletian's persecutions, Roman soldiers martyred Zotic, Atal, Camasis, and Filip in Niculițel, Scythia Minor (modern Romania). As missionaries spreading Christianity, they were captured, tortured, and beheaded for refusing to renounce their faith. Their relics, discovered in 1971, testify to their unwavering commitment.

Let us pray to these holy martyrs, that they intercede for us, that we may stand firm in our faith, even unto death, and spread the Gospel with courage and love.
