Saint Lup was a servant of Saint Demetrius. After Demetrius's martyrdom, Lup took Demetrius's ring, dipped in his blood, and went about healing the sick and performing miracles, destroying idols. He was arrested and ordered to sacrifice to idols, but he refused and was beheaded.
