In Antioch during the reign of Emperor Maximian, Saint Isihie, a high-ranking officer, openly confessed his faith when he saw Christians being tortured. He was immediately arrested and commanded to sacrifice to idols. Isihie refused, declaring his allegiance to Christ. Despite brutal torture, including being hung and scraped with iron claws, he remained steadfast. Finally, he was cast into the sea, and so received a martyr's crown.

Let us pray to #SaintIsihie to intercede for us, that we may remain strong in our #faith and unwavering in our commitment to #JesusChrist. #martyrs #Christian
