In 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu of Wallachia, along with his four sons and the faithful treasurer Ianache, faced execution by the Ottomans. Refusing to renounce Christ for earthly power, they chose martyrdom. Before their beheading, the Prince was forced to watch his sons die, their faith unwavering. Witnessing their courage, he too, was beheaded. Their relics are venerated for their steadfastness. May their sacrifice inspire us.
