Venerable Theodora lived in the 17th century. After years of marriage, she and her husband entered monastic life. He went to Poiana Mărului Monastery, becoming the monk Eleutherius, and she to a nearby skete. Following an invasion, Theodora fled to the Sihla mountains, living in a cave for decades in deep repentance and prayer. She was miraculously sustained by God, Who sent her food via ravens. Eventually, a monk from Poiana Mărului, guided by a dream, found her and gave her Holy Communion before her death.
