Jesus, son of Mary, was born in Bethlehem. He grew up in Nazareth and began His ministry around the age of thirty, teaching about love, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of God. He performed miracles, healing the sick and raising the dead. He chose twelve apostles to spread His message. He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died, and was buried, but rose from the dead on the third day, appearing to His disciples before ascending into Heaven.
