Venerable Theodora lived in the 17th century, initially married to a pious man. After a period of spiritual searching and with her husband's blessing, she embraced monastic life. The couple distributed their wealth to the poor and entered separate monasteries. Theodora, known for her deep prayer and asceticism, later retreated to the remote Sihla mountains, dwelling in a cave. She lived in solitude, battling temptations and demons, and eventually reposed in that cave, a beacon of repentance and devotion.
