Martyr Theodosie of Brazi, a Romanian Orthodox monk, faced martyrdom in 1692. Ottoman soldiers demanded he renounce his faith and convert to Islam. Theodosie refused, declaring his unwavering commitment to Christ. Enraged, the soldiers tortured and ultimately beheaded him. His sacrifice solidified his place as a protector of the Orthodox faith in Transylvania, inspiring others to remain steadfast.
