Martyrs Romulus and Silvanus, soldiers of the Roman army, were stationed in Durostorum (present-day Silistra, Bulgaria) during the reign of Diocletian. Known Christians, they refused to participate in pagan sacrifices. They openly confessed their faith, declaring Christ as the only true God. For their defiance, they endured brutal torture. Eventually, they were beheaded for their unwavering commitment to Christ.
Let us beseech them to intercede on our behalf, that we may also find the strength to stand firm in our #Faith. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Martyrs #Prayer #Byzantine
