Martyrs Claudiu, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostrat were skilled sculptors in Pannonia, devotedly crafting pagan idols. When Emperor Diocletian sought an image of Asclepius, they were chosen for the task. However, influenced by the Christian Simplicius, they recognized the emptiness of idol worship. Refusing to carve the idol, they confessed their faith in Christ. Angered, Diocletian had them tortured. Yet, they remained steadfast, converting many by their example. Ultimately, they were drowned in the river, embracing martyrdom for their unwavering belief.
Lord, may their sacrifice inspire devotion in our hearts!
