Venerable Visarion, a Romanian monk, staunchly defended Orthodox teachings against imposed changes in the 20th century. Arrested for his unwavering faith, he endured brutal imprisonment and torture. Visarion never compromised his beliefs. He died in communist custody, a martyr for #Orthodoxy.
