In the reign of Diocletian, Isihie, a high-ranking officer, openly confessed his faith when ordered to sacrifice to idols. Renouncing his military status, he was subjected to brutal tortures: scourged, suspended, and his flesh torn. Unwavering, he endured these torments with joy, glorifying Christ. Thrown into prison, an angel healed his wounds. Brought before the emperor again, he remained steadfast, leading many to believe. Finally, he was beheaded.
