Bishop Bretanion of Tomis, a fourth-century saint, fearlessly defended the Orthodox faith against Arianism. He was exiled for his unwavering stance, yet continued to preach and encourage his flock. His writings and actions during the Arian controversy were instrumental in upholding the true doctrine of Christ's divinity. He ultimately died in exile, a martyr for his beliefs.
